Common problems

Check access and connection before trying again.

A student cannot enter. What should I check?

Check that they are on the student entry page, not teacher sign-in. Compare the typed code with the class code in the live class, including the hyphen, and check that a nickname is filled in. If they enter but see no game, check in Games that a game is assigned and has not expired.

The game will not open or stays on “Preparando”. What should I do?

Check the connection and wait for the on-screen notice. If it does not open, reload and try an updated Chrome or Edge. If it only fails on the school network, ask IT to allow the game; meanwhile, choose another game in Games.

The internet dropped. What is saved?

What already arrived is saved. What the child played offline stays on the device and is sent on its own when the network is back: just open the platform again on that device within 3 days. Until then, the live class may show the child as signed in with answers not here yet, and that is not a difficulty.

The class code changed. What now?

Use the code now shown in the live class and print a new sheet. The old code no longer works for new entries, but changing it does not erase rounds or results.

I forgot my password. How do I recover access?

Open Forgot password and enter your account email. Use the link you receive to choose a new password; if it expired or did not arrive, request another or contact coordination. Students do not use passwords: they enter with the class code and a nickname.

Getting started

Prepare the class, choose a game and hand out the code.

How do I create a class?

Coordination creates the class in the guided start, with name and year, and links it to your email. Your class shows under My class in the menu; if it does not, ask coordination.

How do I choose and assign a game?

In Games, open the game page and use Test before class: tests do not count. Then use Assign: the game stays open for the class for 7 days.

How do I share the code with students?

The class code is in the live class; print the code sheet or project it. Students open the student entry page, type the code and choose a nickname and an animal. No email or password is needed, and the nickname should not be the full name.

During class

See who joined and who needs you nearby.

How do I follow the class live?

Open Live class in the menu. It shows who joined, who is playing and who needs you, and updates on its own while open. If the connection drops, it keeps the last information received.

One device for several students: how do I rotate?

Between groups, end the round in the live class. Each device goes back to the entry screen, and the next child enters with their own nickname. What was already played stays saved.

What does each round status mean?

The status describes the recorded round, not the student’s level. If it differs from what you see in class, check the connection and talk to them.

Entrou, respostas ainda não chegaram
The student signed in during the last few hours and none of their answers has arrived yet. The game may still be opening, or the network dropped and the answers are waiting on the device.
Não iniciou
No started round has been recorded for this game.
Em andamento
The round started and the game sent answers in the last 15 minutes.
Concluiu
The game recorded the end of the round. This does not mean the student already does it without help.
Saiu antes de terminar
The round started, did not reach the end and the game has sent nothing for 15 minutes or more. If the student plays again, it goes back to In progress.

A student is stuck. How do I read the signals?

Retrying the same problem or asking for hints shows where to come closer. Ask what they tried and work through an example together. A signal calls for attention; it is not a diagnosis or grade.

After class

Read what the game observed and decide the next step.

Where do I start after class?

From the class home. At the top, how many played this week; in the middle, where the class is doing well and where it needs more teaching, with names at each level; on the right, what is open today and who to keep close tomorrow.

What do the levels mean?

A level describes what the game observed on a skill, using fixed rules applied to rounds, not an artificial intelligence opinion. It is neither a grade nor a comparison between children.

Começando
Still gets close to half wrong or more, or needs to retry most of the time.
No caminho
Gets more than half right, and at least half on the first try.
Já faz sem ajuda
Gets 8 in 10 right, almost always on the first try and without hints, in different rounds and situations.
Sem respostas ainda
Does not have enough answers in this skill yet. It is not a difficulty.

Why does “Sem respostas ainda” appear after a student played?

Playing alone is not enough: the skill needs at least two answers on different problems. “Sem respostas ainda” means there is not enough basis for a claim, not that the student is struggling. Offer another chance to practice.

Where can I see what supports a level?

In Students, open the student’s page: each skill shows the level with how many answers support it, and “see the answers, one by one” shows each problem. For the whole class, use Check the levels, below the level grid on the class home.

How do I use the plan for tomorrow?

Open Tomorrow in the menu. At the top, who stays with you; below, who plays without you nearby and who is out of the plan. Disagree with a group? Tap move on the student: the change is marked as yours. You can print it or send it to your WhatsApp.

Where do I see what the class did over recent weeks?

In the Report, in the menu: whether the class improved on the most played skill, who moved up and who moved down, how many played each week and the level grid. You can print it.

Coordination

Follow usage and skills within your school.

What does coordination see?

Coordination accounts land on School, with the classes and how many played each week. The menu also has Find a student and Received sheets; Skills and Reports are in the menu under your name. Teachers follow their class from the class home. There is no ranking of children or comparison across schools.

How do I download the CSV dossier?

In the menu under your name, open Reports and download the FUNDEB/VAAR dossier. It includes BNCC codes and text, levels, answers and rounds, and the rubric version. Check that the rubric is signed before using it for accountability.

Does class participation mean a school absence?

No. School shows how many students in each class played each week: it is platform usage, not attendance. Use it to talk with the teacher, never as an attendance record.

Privacy and data

Know what is recorded and who can see it.

What is stored about a child?

Children identify themselves with a nickname and avatar. If you want, you can give each student a roll-call name, without surname, that only the school sees: the student, the game and the family keep seeing only the nickname. Rounds, answers and support used in games, evidence and skill levels are also recorded. The platform does not ask students for a full name, email, photo, national ID or date of birth. Always use a nickname that does not reveal the full name.

Offline, what stays stored on the device?

Per round: the class code, the child’s platform identifier (a random sequence, without the nickname or the name), the round identifier, the game and its version, and what the child did on each item: the problem or question, the answer, whether it was right, how many tries, whether a hint was used, how long it took and the device type. It leaves the device as soon as it reaches the platform and is erased without being sent after 3 days offline. Private windows or clearing the browser data also erase it.

Who can see the data?

Teachers see the classes linked to their account. Coordination sees its own school. Students see their own games and results. Anyone with a valid family link sees that child’s report; treat the link as private.

How do I raise an LGPD or data deletion question?

Contact school coordination to route the request and confirm the applicable procedure. The retention policy still has periods and procedures under legal review. Removing a student from a class retains the history; it does not delete all data.
